Mako Matt’s Marine Online Order and Return Policies
We appreciate your business, and we want your experience with us to be easy and pleasant. We have outlined some useful guidelines that will expedite this.
1. To make a return, you must obtain a Return Authorization from us, by email or telephone. This will insure that we’re both “on the same page.” To obtain your Return Authorization, please email us at makomattsmarine@verizon.com. All returns must be accompanied by the original purchase invoice.
2. Return Authorization must be requested within 7 days of the date of your receipt of the merchandise. Goods being sent for return must be received by Mako Matt’s Marine within 30 days of original receipt. No returns will be accepted after 30 days.
3. There will be a 10% restocking fee for returned non-defective items in unused re-saleable condition, in their original packaging. You will be refunded or credited the entire price of the product, less shipping charges and the restocking charge. Note that undamaged non-defective items returned outside their original packaging will not be accepted for return
4. We offer a 30 day exchange for defective merchandise, per manufacturer’s warranty guidelines. After 30 days, merchandise covered by manufacturer’s warranty must be sent directly to the manufacturer for repair or replacement.
5. Note that all sales are final for: Special or custom orders, bait tanks, books, videos, electrical items, safety items, used equipment, and closeout merchandise.
Liability: Since we have no control over the use of the products, we assume no liability connected with their use. Under no circumstances are we liable for any loss, damage, or expenses of any kind arising from the use or inability to use Mako Matt’s Marine products or other manufacturer’s products that we supply.
Lead Warning: Some products may contain lead, a chemical known to the state of California to cause cancer, birth defects, and other reproductive harm.
Order confirmation: Once you have submitted your order, you will receive a prompt order confirmation by email. If you would like to have a shipping cost quotation before finalizing your order, please indicate this on your order, and we will be glad to provide it. If you do not request the shipping cost quotation, we will begin processing your order immediately upon receipt. Note that orders of over $100 will receive free shipping, if they are within the USA (lower 48 only) and are within standard size/weight. If the order is oversize, overweight, or outside the USA, shipping charges will apply.
Phone/Fax orders: The easiest and quickest way to submit your order is via this website, which offers a secure online transaction. 6. The minimum order for this website is $10.00, not including tax or shipping. We will accept orders of less than $10.00, but we will add $1.00 to the order as a small order handling charge.
